Daddy Cool is set in multicultural London, to the music of Boney M (and other Frank Farian artists including Milli Vanilli and No Mercy), this new and exciting musical includes classics such as Rivers of Babylon, Brown Girl In The Ring, Ma Baker, Girl You Know It's True, Where Do You Go, One Way Ticket, Mary's Boychild. Many of the numbers, originally written in the 70s and 80s, have been re-interpreted with contemporary musical influences whilst still retaining the elements that made the songs such huge hits.

With over 800 million sales of Boney M albums around the world, including 22 Number One hits, the group was a phenomenon and their music has reached far and wide during the past 30 years.

Daddy Cool tells the story of 'Sunny', a young manwho lives for his music. Caught up in local rivalry between East and West London crews, he meets and falls in love with 'Rose', daughter of the East End's notorious club owner 'Ma Baker'. Echoing Romeo and Juliet, the lovers' relationship fuels the hostility between the two gangs, leaving their families face to face with past secrets and forcing them to comfront their future. Harvey ('Shake') was born in 1979 and raised in Battersea (South London). his main priority was fotball but he had to find success elsewhere when he broke is ankle at the age of 19, after having spells at Chelsea, Barnet and Aldershot FC. Going back to music, he became a member of the hugely talented collective, So Solid Crew, who went on to win two MOBO's, a Brit Award and scored a platinum selling debut album.
