Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! returns to its original West End home, Theatre Royal Drury Lane to celebrate its 80th anniversary, this August.
Joining the previously announced Phil Dunster (Ted Lasso) as Curly and Zizi Strallen (Mary Poppins) as Laurey are Christina Bianco (The Rise and Fall of Little Voice) as Ado Annie, Jordan Shaw (Les Misérables) as Will Parker, five-time Olivier Award nominee and two-time Olivier Award winner Joanna Riding (Sondheim’s Old Friends and Carousel) as Aunt Eller, Tosh Wanogho-Maud (The Drifters Girl) as Jud Fry, Irvine Iqbal (The Witches) as Ali Hakim, Nicole-Lily Baisden (Anything Goes) as Gertie and Sebastien Torkia (Guys & Dolls) as Andrew. The cast is completed by George Beet (Assistant Choreographer), Ashleigh Graham (Assistant Choreographer), David McIntosh, Amonik Melaco, Carrie Willis, David Winters, Jessica Wright and the London Musical Theatre Chorus.
Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! opened on Broadway in 1943 and later transferred to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane for its West End premiere in 1947. Oklahoma! was Rodgers & Hammerstein’s first collaboration, and features some of their most loved songs, including Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’, The Surrey with the Fringe on Top and the titular title song Oklahoma!.

New Casting Announced for Oklahoma!
Oh, what a beautiful mornin', Oh, what a beautiful day, two new cast members are heading our way! Prepare your surrey with the fringe on top, Sam Palladio (Curly McLain) and Lizzie Wofford (Gertie Cummings) will be riding into the Olivier award-winning phenomenon, Oklahoma! this July. Book your tickets today!
Sam Palladio, who will be taking over the role of Curly McLain from 03 July, is no stranger to a Stetson having starred in ABC’s smash-hit musical drama Nashville for 6 years. You may also recognise the talented actor and musician as Prince Edward in the cult Christmas film The Princess Switch on Netflix. Palladio’s stage credits include Dreamboats and Petticoats, The Light Princess, and Can’t Smile Without You.
Lizzie Wofford (The Phantom of the Opera) will be swapping Opera for Oklahoma! as she takes on the role of Gertie Cummings from Rebekah Hinds on the same date.

It's 80 years since Oklahoma first opened on Broadway!
Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! celebrates 80 years of success! Today marks the 80th anniversary of the seminal musical opening on Broadway at the St James’ Theatre. The show played its first performance on 31 March 1943 and has since enjoyed over 12 productions in 4 countries. The latest innovative incarnation, directed by Daniel Fish, has been nominated for seven Olivier awards and is thrilling audiences at Wyndham’s Theatre.
