We'll tell you as soon as tickets go on sale:

Scenes from a Marriage is a portrait of extraordinary intimacy and a searchingly honest and moving love story. We follow Johan and Marianne from their seemingly perfect happy marriage through betrayal and loss to warring contenders in divorce and beyond.

Trevor Nunn returns to direct Scenes from a Marriage in the intimate setting of the St James Theatre, having originally directed it five years ago to open the new small space at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry. Trevor Nunn is one of the UK’s leading theatre, film and television directors. He has been Artistic Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre. His extensive repertoire includes the musicals Cats and Les Misérables, for which he won Tony Awards, and the Olivier Award-winning Summerfolk, The Merchant of Venice, Troilus and Cressida and The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby.

Ingmar Bergman’s Scenes from a Marriage was originally created for television and has acquired classic status inspiring many other films and directors.  This adaptation for the stage by Joanna Murray-Smith (whose play Honour enjoyed a major success at the National Theatre and in the West End) is an emotionally powerful and compulsively visceral exploration of what happens when a marriage disintegrates.

Starring Olivia Williams, Mark Bazeley, Shane Attwooll, Aislinn Sands and Melanie Jessop
